Chinese Blue Steel
Alcohol and chinese garb, pre party
One of my friends came in from Hong Jiu and is staying with us this weekend. We went to the solk market and bought a few things. It was by far the best time I have had in China, I actually worked at one of the shops selling scarfs for 20 minutes. I was able to use my Chinese to ask if I could work there and got a uniform and everything, it was crazy!!!!! I was going up to foreigner and saying I give you good price very cheap and a bunch of other stuff, I acted just like they do, except I was louder. They would hear you nwant scarf and they would just say no, than they would do a double take and be amazed. I would tell them I got caught stealing from them and they said I had to sell scarfs for the next 2 years or they would put me in jail. I would tell them later, that I was of course joking. I love messing with people, it is awesome. They actually sent a news crew to take pictures of me selling stuff in my uniform. Too bad we didn't have a camerea, I well.

Nick and Me
Nick and me returning from a long night, we got back to our apartment at 630 am. We only have one more weekend left in Beijing, we have to make it worth while.
It is a strange feeling when you leave and people are saying good morning to you and offering you breakfast.
Weird Chinese girls
"The Den" during happy hour
We have been going to a bar called "The Den". It shows the Tour de France, and anyone who knows me, knows that is my favorite sporting event ever. I got in about 12 beers during happy hour, and kept going. By the way an American won the Tour again, haha france.
Me after an extremely rough night
This is the pizza place Nick and I frequent. I believe we got in at around 430 from a long night of drinking and went to get pizza after with a huge hangover the next afternoon. That night we went to some odd places, but it was definatly an experience worth remembering, sorry no pictures from that night are avaliable.
Crazy nights in Beijing
Due to popular demand, I have started taking my camerea when I go out. This is me at San li Tun at some random bar.

My living Room
Nick and I on the Wall
The Great Wall of China
Tienamen Square
Xian City Wall
It surroundes the enitre city of Xian, I biked it on some old crappy bike 13 kilometers. It was fun and I have some good video of it.
Nick and me at noon
The bellhop at the hotel dropped my computer, Nick's computer and Jason's computer on the ground. Nick's broke, mine was fine. The hotel refused to take responsiblitity for it and didn't give him any money to replace it. The Chinese don't like to loose face and them admitting that they are wrong is impossible. They actually wrote him a letter blaming him for the damage, not them, wow it wasn't happening to me and still pissed me off. So naturally there is nothing we can do in China, so we starting drinking.

These soldiers were buried under ground by the first emporer of china. He made sure that grass grew on them so he strategically placed over sixty layers of grass on the top of the soldiers with out letting the ground cave in on them.

What I have been doing
I have been out of touch for about 2 weeks, sorry. I first traveled to Xian, in the West part of China. The 16 hour train ride there was interesting to say the least, especially since I was carrying everthing I have. When in Xian we saw several things, including the famous Taracata Soldiers. There is about 6 thousand full size soldiers and horses guarding the First real emporer of China. Of course his tomb was robbed and burned by the people, the people actually over took his son's kingdom by using the very weapons that he had put on the Taracata Soldiers. This is why none of these soldiers have weapons. It was an amazing site to see, down in the ground for about 2 to 3 miles on both sides. I also went to see some dead peoples tomb, it was ok. I went to the Musleum market and bought some stuff, that was interesting, if any of them asked my nationality, I said I was fa guo ren(French). We than went to Beijing where I will be working for the next month or so. My company is pretty big, and I start work tomorrow and still have no clue what I am going to be doing. It can't be that bad, because the company set me and another friend of mine on the trip who will be doing IT work in a 2 thousand US dollar a month apartment, it is nice to say the least. It is a 4 bedroom and 1 study apartment less than a minute from my job. I have my own balcony, kitchen, washer and fridge. I have the master bedroom with my own jacuzzi bathtub, yeah. I also saw the great wall of china and the Xian city wall. More info and pics to follow.
